Mo Twister and co-djs on Good times at 89.9 Radio on Charice Hashtags
DJ Mo Twister and his co-djs on their Today’s Best Music Magic 89.9 program “Good Times” has been suspended for two weeks without pay for creating a false topic and info on twitter about the Youtube singing sensation Charice Pempengo on #Charice PempengcoSexTape.
According to the djs that it was a joke on their program that they want to create a non-related topic and make it number one trends on Twitter in the Philippines.
The trending topic false hashtag on twitter started when Mo suggested to his Co-DJs and said:
“Let’s trend topic for our show.
“What we’re gonna do is we hashtag something completely unrelated to what we’re talking about today.”
After a few hours, the topic became the number one trend on twitter nationwide. However on the other hand, Charice reacted on DJ Mo through her twitter account: @OfficialCharice.
“@djmotwister you are…unbelievable.”
“@djmotwister too bad. Remember, you interviewed me? I thought you were nice. anyway, I should talk to you FACE TO FACE. :)”
“@djmotwister I hope you have a good lawyer.”
After Charice reacted, the Good times Deejays apologized to Charice through their twitter accounts.
